Terms of Use

Version 1, 30 September 2026. These terms apply to the Verithink service at app.verithink.ai.

1. Who we are

Verithink is operated by Nanu Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14443667, VAT number GB 429150308), registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF, United Kingdom. You can reach us at contact@nanu.tech. In these terms, "Verithink", "we" and "us" mean Nanu Ltd.

2. What Verithink does

Verithink reads a piece of writing you submit and reports how well it holds up on two dimensions, Sources and Reasoning, with a score, a summary and specific findings. The assessment is produced by an automated system. It is an aid to your own judgement, not a substitute for it, and not professional, legal, medical or financial advice. Scores and findings can be incomplete or wrong. You remain responsible for any decision you take based on them.

3. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. You must be at least 16 years old to use Verithink and at least 18 to buy a paid plan. Keep your email account secure: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission. One person per account; accounts are not shared or transferable.

4. Plans and allowances

Every account has a Free plan with 5 evaluations a calendar month, no card needed. Paid plans (Starter, Plus and Pro) include a larger monthly allowance of evaluations, as shown on the plans page at the time you subscribe. Allowances renew at the start of each billing period; unused evaluations do not carry over. If you move to a larger plan, the new allowance applies immediately. If you move to a smaller plan or cancel, your current plan stays in force until the end of the period you have paid for, and the account then continues on the new plan or on the Free plan.

We may change plan prices or allowances for future periods. We will tell you by email at least 14 days before a change affects your subscription, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

5. Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. When you buy a paid plan you buy it from Stripe, acting as the merchant of record, under Stripe's terms of sale, which include your statutory rights to cancel and to a refund. Stripe collects any applicable tax and shows the total before you pay. We never receive your card details. Prices are shown in US dollars by default, with round prices in euros and pounds sterling where available; taxes are included in the displayed price where the law requires it.

You can change or cancel your plan at any time from "Manage billing" in the app, which opens Stripe's billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If a renewal payment fails, we will keep your plan for a short time while Stripe retries; if payment is not completed, the account returns to the Free plan.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the text you submit and to your evaluations. You give us permission to process that text for the sole purpose of providing the service to you: producing the assessment, saving it in your library, and keeping the service secure. We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Our processors are listed in the Privacy Notice.

Submit only content you have the right to use. Do not submit content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that contains other people's personal data you have no right to share. Features that let you share an evaluation with others, if we introduce them, will be optional and described in additional terms before you use them.

7. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to gain access to other accounts or to our systems, probe or overload the service, reverse engineer it, scrape it, resell it, or use it to build a competing service. Do not use Verithink to break the law or to harass or defame anyone. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, after warning you where that is reasonable.

8. Our rights

Verithink, its software, its design and its brand belong to Nanu Ltd or its licensors. These terms do not give you any right to them beyond using the service as intended.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep Verithink available and accurate, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change or improve features over time, and we may withdraw the service with reasonable notice. If we withdraw a paid plan, you will be refunded for any period you have paid for and not received.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when you started using the service, for business losses if you use Verithink for business purposes, or for decisions you take based on an assessment. Our total liability to you for all claims in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid for the service in that period.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Verithink at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Notice). We may end the agreement if you breach these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any reason; any prepaid period you have not received is refunded.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will email account holders at least 14 days in advance. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the new terms.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country and may bring proceedings there.
